On Wednesday afternoon we were entertained by professionals in theater and dance. These are photos of some of the artists that performed for us. (Oops. I think photos may come out sideways!)

The morning session was much more serious as we heard from Tsutomu Kimura, President of National Institution for Academic Degrees. He spoke to us about the current concerns of educators in Japan. We were surprised to learn that some of the top problems in the schools in Japan include the drop-out rate, bullying, lack of discipline, and lack of motivation in students wanting to study. Sound familar?
