These are just two kinds of sushi I ate last night. My hosts thought since I was from Indiana that I would like the corn sushi. (I didn't even know there was such a thing as corn sushi!) Notice in the second photo that the plates of food are encircling the cooks in the middle of the restaurant. These plates are on a conveyor belt and as you sit in your booth, all of the plates pass by you. You select the food you want to eat and reach up and take it off the conveyor belt. The color of the plates indicate the price of your selection. When you are finishied eating the cost of the meal is determined by counting the number of plates on your table and taking note of what color the plates are so the price can be tallied.
